Bee Hive Homes is proud to announce that on April 8,2011, 3 new Bee Hive Homes officially opened their doors. There were wonderful Open House celebrations at all each of these locations welcoming these homes into these wonderful communities. We are certainly pleased to announce that Bee Hive assisted living care will now be available in the following cities.

Bee Hive Homes of Mesa will soon have another brand new facility. This home is located at next to the existing home in Mesa. It has become obvious that the level of care offered by Ben Searle and his wonderful staff has received great feedback and demands another home. Congratulations to Mike Malone who won the Entree category and to Domenic Trujeque who won the dessert category. Both winners took home a $100 grand prize! We look forward to hosting this again next year. Thanks to all our cooks who participated.

High Demand for Assisted Living

Occupancy rates continue to be stable for Assisted Living Facilities throughout most of the county, in spite the sagging economy. On the other hand, larger retirement communities are struggling. This is according to the 2009 Overview of Assisted Living national survey of 500 Assisted Living Facilities, co-sponsored by the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA).
